Welcome to the official website of the International Conference on Material, Industrial and Mechanical Engineering (ICMIME). It will be held in Kuala Lumpour, Malaysia. ICMIME is one of the major conferences held as part of the International Congress on Technology, Engineering and Science (ICONTES).

The conference will provide a platform to bring together academician, researchers, industrialists, practitioners and other related experts from home and abroad to share knowledge and experiences, which will promote intellectual and practical development in the field of Mechanical, Industrial and Materials Engineering. The conference will offer technical activities, including research/technical sessions, poster sessions, exhibitions, an industry track, a developers track etc.

The main objectives of the conference is to promote information of research and development on related topics and interchange updated scientific information among the researchers, developers, engineers, students and practitioners working worldwide.

Prospective authors are invited to submit their original research works, which are not submitted or published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. You are welcome for participation in ICMIME and looking forward to seeing you Kuala Lumpour, Malaysia.

Paper Submission, Presentation and Publication

The draft paper should include: (1) Title of the paper; (2) Name, affiliation and e-mail address for each author; (3) A maximum of 5 keywords of the paper. Also, the name of the conference that the paper is being submitted to should be stated in the email.

The authors are advised to submit their manuscripts for reviewing when their drafts are ready, instead of waiting till the submission deadline.  It is our target that the reviewing process for each submitted manuscript can be completed within four weeks from its submission. Then, the participants can have more time to prepare for their conference registration etc. An acknowledgement email for the receipt of the submitted papers will be sent within three working days. If the authors have not received the acknowledgement emails or the result notification emails within the above specific periods, they can contact us by email at mail.icontes@gmail.com.

1. Complete submissions should reach the conference coordinator for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
2. No changes in titles, authors or order of authorship after submission.
3. Please specify who will present the paper at the conference.
4. Please prepare submissions to the following guidelines:

Paper preparation

All abstract must be written in English. All the abstracts would be reviewed by experts and will be accepted as oral/poster presentation, but you can propose your selection for type of your presentation (poster/oral).

The title (Font: 14 pt, Bold, Centred, Space After: 12 pt) should be followed by the name(s) of author(s) with the name of the person presenting underlined (Font:11 pt, Cantered, Space After:6 pt, Presenter has to be Underlined, An asterisk (*) for corresponding Author), their affiliation (Font: 10 pt, Italic, Centred, each affiliation in separate line) and email address (Font: 11 pt, Centred, Space Before: 10 pt, After: 18 pt). Full text (12 pt, Justified, Line spacing: 1.5 lines, Space Before: 6 p) of the abstract (character limits 3000 including spaces) should follow the email address. The figure captions (Font: 11 pt, Line spacing: single, Space Before: 6 pt, After: 12 pt), Table captions (Font: 11 pt, Line spacing: single, Space Before: 6 pt, After: 0 pt) and references (Font: 11 pt, Line spacing: single, Space Before: 0 pt, After: 6 pt) should be prepared.

We have provided the following word processing template that has been pre-formatted for your convenience. This template is already set with the correct page size, column widths, and margins that are required for ICONTES congress abstracts.

Please download the template and use it for formatting and writing your congress paper.

Poster specifications:

The size for the poster should be 80 cm x 100 cm. The poster should include title, author's name and affiliation, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusion and literature cited.
